LEARNING ACTIVITIES AND
ASSESSMENT TASKS FOR
VCE VM and VPC
WORK RELATED SKILLS
South West (SW) Local Learning and Employment Network (LLEN) is one of 31 LLENs across Victoria.
LLENs are funded by the Department of Education.
The Department of Education prescribes to LLENs what are to do for that funding.
For 2023 to 2025, LLENs are integral to the Department of Education’s School to Work Program.
The School to Work Program supports access to work-based learning opportunities, so students can develop employability skills and make informed career choices.
A component of the School to Work Program requires LLENs to support delivery of the Senior Secondary Pathways Reforms (SSPR).
To support the SSPRs, LLENs can provide tools for the reforms including the new VCE Vocational Major (VM) and Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC) curriculum.
Some south west Victorian schools identified a need for high quality learning materials and assessment resources components of the Work Related Skills strand of the VCE VM and VPC.
It is in this context that this resource has been developed
South West LLEN acknowledges the guidance and support of Narelle Holliday from Cobden Technical School and Russell Moody from Brauer College for the development of this resource.
