Work Ready Skills

South West LLEN has developed a program, Work Ready Skills, to provide schools and students with the content they need to be ready to approach the world of work with confidence, regardless of their area of interest.

The program is based on six sessions, each of which tackle a specific part of the employment puzzle listed below.

2: You’ve got it – how to make the most of the skills you have and get the skills you need

3: What’s your scene? Finding out more about local industry

4: Selling your skills: resumes that stand out

5: Applying yourself: how to write a winning application

6: The whole person – keeping confident and staying well
